1st work out.

Today my wife and I began working out, together even. She has worked out off and on for years.. I haven’t worked out in any fashion for many years. I can feel it most in my lungs.. Those poor abused wind machines that just stopped receiving a ton of smoke every day.

Our plan is to do this workout for a month and a half before deciding on whether to join a gym.. The gym doesn’t thrill me but that may change. Working out around our dogs can be a challenge.. as there is always at least one in the house

Changes…..

The orders from the fall family sessions are beginning to roll in.  Also there is plenty on my desk to work on for the next few weeks.

Maybe the working out will help me get past my morning mush brain syndrome.. Ha ha.

Lots to do and I need to stay focused, so that it gets done in a timely fashion.

The beginning…. of my official blog..

Here is is October 19, 2007. Today I met the deadline of putting fall family portraits online from 2 different events.
1st event was Family sessions at Westward Ho country club. 21 families over a two week period. http://hauschildts.com/whcc.html

2nd was my annual Free Fall Family Portraits event http://hauschildts.com/newtonhills.html
The 2nd event was poorly announced this year and so did not have the desired turn out.

It certainly has been a busy few weeks. with some valuable lessons learned. Mostly in the marketing and communication facet of my efforts, as well as accessability. My park event was too remote and poorly announced.. relying on only seven days of limited print exposure and only posting on my web page and not activily emailing or calling past clients.

I am really seeing where I need to settle down, get organized and really work with my client base. They are there waiting to be communicated to.

These lessons also carry into lessons learned with my efforts with the Highschool seniors. I found something that works well I just need to find the students that will benefit most and that will use what I have to offer them… I really want to turn the whole market to a new direction..  This will be at the risk of being at odds with the established methods and industry peers.. I’ll be re-launching those efforts in January.  This week also marks a full month of not smoking…
